A multi-talented advertiser began his career as a copywriter in 1997 and was promoted to the role of creative director in 2002. He has worked for both local and global agencies, including Cenajans Grey, Güzel Sanatlar Bates, Drive Dentsu, Brandit, and FCBArtgroup, where he contributed to the success of over 200 brands. His portfolio includes the creation of more than a thousand ATL, BTL, event, and digital campaigns, and he has received numerous national and international awards, including the London International Advertising Awards, Prague International Awards, Kiev International Awards, Istanbul Marketing Awards, Crystal Apple Awards, Felis Awards, Sabre Awards, Red Jolbors Awards, and Ad Stars Awards. ​

His work on campaigns for Toyota, Pınar Food, Invest AZ, and Unilever has been used in multinational regional campaigns. In 2017, he was appointed as Regional Creative Director for Caucasus and Central Asia, and in 2018, he was promoted to the position of Managing Director of FCB Artgroup Baku. Under his lead, the agency became the first globally acknowledged Great Place to Work certificated agency of Azerbaijan.​

In addition to his advertising accomplishments, he authored the book “Reklam Yazmak” on copywriting, which has been a source book in Turkish universities since 2008. He has also shared his expertise by teaching advertising creativity and copywriting at Bilgi and Marmara Universities. Furthermore, he has three published books to his name.​

Beyond his advertising career, Ersel is a well-known musician and songwriter, having composed more than 50 songs for renowned Turkish singers such as Sertab Erener, Ferhat Gocer, Candan Ercetin, and Muslum Gurses.​

Ersel is happily married and is the proud father of three lovely children. He is fluent in English, French, and Italian.
